Deron Williams (illness) played 18 minutes in Tuesday's Game 4 win vs. the Celtics, scoring two points on 1-of-2 shooting with one rebound, one assist and one steal.

D-Will has been a disappointment in the postseason, but the Cavs don't really have another option because they don't trust rookie Kay Felder. Kyrie Irving did tweak his ankle in Tuesday's win, but he's not expected to miss any time. Expect Williams to play his normal role with minutes in the teens going forward.

Kevin Love grabbed a playoff career-high 17 rebounds to go with 17 points, five assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in Tuesday's Game 4 win over Boston.

He finished 6-of-13 from the field and is quickly gaining a reputation for his incredible full-court outlet passes (link below). He may even be the best quarterback in Cleveland right now. All kidding aside, Love has been dominant in this series with averages of 24.5 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 blocks, and his play on the defensive end has also been solid. The big question is whether or not he can carry this momentum into the NBA Finals.

LeBron James bounced back with 34 points on 15-of-27 shooting in Tuesday's Game 4 win over Boston, adding six assists, five rebounds, one steal, one block and one triple in 38 minutes.

After an 11-point dud in Game 3 on 4-of-13 shooting, LeBron got off to another tough start with four fouls in the first half -- he was forced to sit the final seven minutes of the second quarter. However, he came alive after the break with 24 of his 34 points, helping the Cavaliers outscore the Celtics 65-42 in the second half. J.R. Smith added five points, three assists, one rebound, two steals and one triple for the Cavaliers, while Tristan Thompson notched seven points with seven rebounds and one block.

Kyrie Irving went off for a playoff career-high 42 points in Tuesday's 112-99 Game 4 win, giving his team a 3-1 series lead.

With LeBron James in foul trouble for most of the night, Irving helped the Cavaliers erase a 16-point deficit and dropped 21 of his 42 points in the third quarter. The entire arena went silent when Irving rolled his left ankle near the end of the third quarter, but he was able to stay in and said after the game that he felt "great." Maybe he sits out of Wednesday's practice to be safe, but expect him to be ready for Game 5 on Thursday in Boston as the Cavs look to close out this series. You can check out the incident in the link below.

Deron Williams (illness) is a go for Tuesday's Game 4 against the Celtics.

Williams sat out shootaround, but he was never expected to miss tonight's game. He should continue to flirt with minutes in the lower-teens, which doesn't mean much in fantasy hoops.

Deron Williams (illness) missed shootaround on Tuesday morning but is expected to play in Game 4 vs. Boston Tuesday night.

Williams' performance has been mostly disappointing this postseason. Over the Cavs last seven games, he is averaging 3.4 points, 3.6 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 14.8 minutes, while shooting 37.0 percent from the floor and 22.2 percent from downtown. In the first three games of the ECF, Williams is just 2-of-11 from the field. The Cavs have been able to cruise through the East with little help from their bench but will need D-Will and company to step up if they hope to take home another title.

Kevin Love made 8-of-16 field goals with seven 3-pointers on Sunday, scoring 28 points with 10 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 36 minutes of action.

Love hit all seven of his 3-pointers in the first half, a perimeter barrage that kept Boston at bay and set a franchise record for first-half triples. He was solid defensively, as well, and has been terrific in the Conference Finals after a quiet first two rounds of the playoffs. Love's second-half disappearance on offense tonight is puzzling, but he's been much more involved on that end and should be a safe play when Cleveland looks to take a commanding 3-1 lead on Tuesday.

Deron Williams failed to score in nine minutes of action during Sunday's Game 3 loss to the visiting Celtics.

Williams is now averaging 2.0 points on combined 2-of-11 shooting in the series, while averaging 12.7 minutes off the bench. Richard Jefferson was also scoreless in four minutes, and Kyle Korver had just three points on 1-of-5 shooting, while Iman Shumpert chipped in six points, four boards and two assists. Channing Frye was a DNP-CD tonight and there's simply no way to trust the Cavs' reserves as DFS options.

LeBron James had a rare off-night on Sunday, posting 11 points on 4-of-13 FGs and 3-of-6 FTs, with six rebounds, six assists and six turnovers.

LBJ is in the midst of another amazingly effective playoff run, with his team boasting a 10-1 record, and tonight's struggles were an obvious aberration. "Me personally I didn't have it," James said after the game. "That's all I've got to say about my performance." It's the fourth time in his postseason career that he's scored fewer than a dozen points and he's likely to erupt in another home game on Tuesday, though that won't help DFS owners who paid up for him tonight.

LeBron James crushed the Celtics in Boston during a blowout 130-86 win on Friday, scoring 30 points with four rebounds, seven assists, four steals, three blocks and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

So it turns out he's not just a regular guy. The Cavs set the NBA playoffs record with a 41-point lead at halftime thanks to winning the second quarter 40-13 to get them to the 72-31 lead at the break. LeBron becomes the first player since Michael Jordan to score 30-plus points in eight consecutive games, and this one hands the Celtics their worst home playoff loss ever. The Cavs have also won 13 straight playoff games to tie the 1988-89 Lakers for the NBA record. LeBron is doing whatever he wants on offense and Celtics coach Brad Stevens may have to be more aggressive in defending him with more double teams. Regardless, it probably isn't going to matter.
Fri, May 19, 2017 11:01:00 PM

Kyrie Irving scored 23 points in 30 minutes against the Celtics on Friday, adding one rebound, three assists, one block, one steal and three 3-pointers.

While LeBron James is stealing the show, Kyrie is starting to come around after an underwhelming start to this postseason. He beat up on the Celtics all season with 25.5 points per game on 62.8 true shooting percentage, so a big game today is no surprise. After the game on TNT, Irving also said the Cavs are playing "pissed off" ad they're being more aggressive. With Isaiah Thomas (hip) now banged up, it's possible Irving gets more Marcus Smart in Game 3. It probably won't matter.
Fri, May 19, 2017 10:56:00 PM

Kevin Love scored 21 points with 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.

He's actually been a solid defender in this series and he's also lighting up the Celtics as a shooter. Love wasn't playing very well in the first two series, especially with just 12.0 points per game against the Raptors. Whatever happened in the time off, it's certainly helping. He's had a tough time against the Warriors, though.
Fri, May 19, 2017 10:55:00 PM

Kyrie Irving scored 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting during the Cavs' Game 1 victory in Boston on Wednesday.

Irving handed out six assists with two rebounds, two steals and one block in 34 minutes. He boasts a gaudy usage rate during the postseason but the Cavs had great success with LeBron James as their de facto point guard tonight, so Irving was relegated to second-string duties. We anticipate a bigger game, usage-wise, on Friday.
Wed, May 17, 2017 11:42:00 PM

Tristan Thompson made 7-of-7 field goals en route to a career postseason-high 20 points during the Cavs' Game 1 road win, adding nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in 34 minutes.

Thompson had three of his six offensive rebounds early in the first quarter, helping the Cavs establish an early lead. His inside presence was a game-changer tonight and Boston resorted to intentionally fouling him down the stretch -- Thompson shot 49.8 percent from the line this season, and wound up 6-of-10 from the line tonight.
Wed, May 17, 2017 11:40:00 PM

Kevin Love scored a playoff career-high 32 points during Wednesday's Game 1 victory in Boston, making 9-of-16 FGs and 8-of-9 FTs with six 3-pointers, 12 rebounds, one steal and one block in 34 minutes.

Tyronn Lue vowed to get Love more involved offensively vs. Boston after he posted a 19.8% usage rate in the first two rounds. Lue cited matchups as the reason for Love's relatively low involvement vs. Indiana and Toronto, but the Celtics had no answers for the four-time All-Star tonight -- Love scored 18 points in the third quarter alone, helping the Cavs roll to an easy 117-104 win. "This is a perfect roster with regard to how many predicaments they can put you in with all of the shooting around [LeBron]," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said before the game. Boston will go back to the drawing board for Game 2 on Friday.
