Carter Hutton blocked 22 of 23 shots in a 3-1 win against Arizona Wednesday night.

Hutton has won five of his last six games and has only allowed six combined goals for an average of one per night. His only loss in this period came against Winnipeg on March 3. In that game he had a save percentage of .974 and allowed only goal, but fell short to Connor Hellebuyck who shut out the Blues. Wednesday night, Hutton had a save percentage of .957 and increased his winning record to 11-8-2.

Alex Goligoski scored a late third-period goal in the 3-1 loss to St Louis Wednesday night to keep the Coyotes from being shutout.

Goligoski earned his third point in the last five games. This increased his goal total to six and point total to 32. Goligoski’s goal was the only of the night for the Coyotes and was assisted by Christian Dvorak and Clayton Keller. This was Keller’s first NHL point since he started with the team in Monday night’s matchup against St Louis.

Philipp Grubauer blocked 32 of 35 shots in a 5-3 win against Colorado Wednesday night.

Grubauer won his first game in his last four starts. Ending this losing slide improved his season record to 11-6-2. Grubauer let in in one goal in each period but never allowed Colorado to take the lead. He ended the night with a save percentage of .914, just slightly lower than his season average of .925.

Vladimir Tarasenko scored the game winning goal in as the Blues beat the Coyotes 3-1 Wednesday night.

This was Tarasenko’s 36th goal of the season and his 69th point. The winger accumulated event more fantasy points on the strength of six shots on goal, which was matched in Wednesday’s contest by defenseman Alex Pietrangelo.

Louis Domingue blocked 39 shots Wednesday night as the Coyotes lost a 3-1 contest to the Blues.

Domingue was coming off a four-game winning streak and was perfect against 11 shots in relief of Mike Smith February 28 against the Bruins. By comparison, Smith has seven straight losses. During his last five games before Wednesday night, Domingue has accumulated a save percentage of .945 and even with the loss, he bettered that mark with a .951. Domingue gave up two goals on 41 shots and another puck found the back of an empty net.

Nathan MacKinnon scored a goal and an assist in the 5-3 loss to Washington Wednesday night.

MacKinnon racked up two points to hit 50 and increase his lead over Matt Duchene to 13. The forward led his team in shots on goal with six in 20 minutes of ice time. Six shots are the most he has made in a single game in 28 contests since Colorado's loss to Los Angeles on January 31.

Calvin Pickard gave up four goals and another puck found the back of an empty net as the Avalanche lost 5-3 to the Capitals Wednesday night.

Pickard is now riding a five-game losing streak, all of which ended with save percentages under .900. He entered the game with a season mark of .907 and as he risks falling into the .800s, he is costing fantasy players.

Ben Bishop blocked 25 of 26 shots in a 4-1 win against Calgary to keep the Kings’ playoff chances alive Wednesday night.

Bishop earned his second win in a row for Los Angeles, which is also only his second win for the team since being traded from Tampa Bay. Dougie Hamilton scored on Bishop early in the first to give Calgary their only lead of the night. Bishop blocked all 24 shots that followed giving his team a chance to make four unanswered goals. He ended the night with a save percentage of .962.

Jarome Iginla netted a goal and an assist in a much needed 4-1 win against Calgary Wednesday night.

Iginla has visited his old haunting grounds of Scotiabank Saddledome six times since leaving Calgary in 2012-13. He had not scored a point in any of visits back until tonight. Iginla scored an unassisted goal in the second period after having to sit out five minutes of the first period for a fight with Deryk Engelland. Iginla also connected with Marian Gaborik to assist on Jeff Carter’s third-period goal.

Brian Elliott gave up four goals on 33 shots Wednesday night as the Flames lost 4-1 to the Kings.

The Flames are still trying to clinch their playoff berth and had to believe Elliott was their best chance. He entered the game with only one loss in his last 14. All but one of those contests ended with a save percentage of .900 or greater including two shutouts.

Dougie Hamilton scored the only Flames goal as they lost a 4-1 contest to the Kings Wednesday night.

Hamilton put the Flames on the board early. He scored at the 3:04 mark of the first and gave Calgary the lead for nine minutes before the Kings scored four unanswered goals. This was the 13th goal for the defenseman, but only his second point in the last five games.

Patrick Kane registered a pair of assists in Chicago's 5-1 win over Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

He helped set up first-period goals by Artemi Panarin (1-0) and Marcus Kruger (3-0). Kane finished the game with a plus-3 rating and one shot on goal in 18:51 of ice time. He's up to 34 goals and 50 assists in 77 games. Kane has picked up at least one point in nine of his last 11 games.

Marc-Andre Fleury allowed five goals on 36 shots in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Fleury and the Pens had an ugly first period, as they allowed the Blackhawks to score four goals in the frame, including two in the final minute. Fleury has now dropped three of his last four starts. He has an 18-9-7 record with a 2.99 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage. Pittsburgh's losing streak has now hit four games.

Corey Crawford stopped 31 of 32 shots in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Crawford blanked the Penguins for the first 45 minutes of the game, but he eventually gave up a meaningless goal to Bryan Rust early in the third. It's a nice bounce-back performance for the 'Hawks after a pair of ugly losses in Florida and Tampa Bay. Crawford has a 31-16-3 record with a 2.53 goals-against-average and a .919 save percentage.

Bryan Rust found the back of the net in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.

It was his first point since he returned from an upper-body injury last week. Rust got the Penguins on the board at the 5:46 mark of the third frame. Ian Cole and Matt Cullen picked up the assists on Pittsburgh's only goal. Rust is up to 13 goals and 13 assists in 53 games.
