Bills signed fifth-round QB Nathan Peterman to a four-year contract.

Peterman is considered more pro-ready than a typical fifth-round QB, and is battling with veteran T.J. Yates and Cardale Jones for the backup job behind Tyrod Taylor. Peterman should win a spot on the 53-man roster, and could be an option if the Bills move on from Taylor in the future.

Patriots signed WR Andrew Hawkins to a one-year contract.

Hawkins says he left money on the table in order to win a championship with the Patriots. Hawkins played a minor role with Cleveland over the last three years, and only finished with 33 catches in 2016. A slot man-only, the 31-year-old has his work cut out to make the Patriots' 53-man roster.

Steelers LE Stephon Tuitt underwent offseason hand surgery and is not practicing at OTAs.

Tuitt should be fine by the time training camp rolls around, but the Steelers have no reason to push their budding star lineman. Tuitt was Pro Football Focus' No. 9-ranked 3-4 end last season, receiving elite marks for both his run defense and pass rush. With one year left on his rookie deal, the Steelers are expected to begin discussing a lucrative contract extension with Tuitt.

Steelers CB Senquez Golson (foot) said he's 100 percent healthy.

The Steelers selected Golson with a second-round pick in 2015, but he hasn't played a snap in two years due to injuries. Golson says his LisFranc injury is 100 percent and his focus for this season is simply to stay healthy. Last month, Golson was detained and later released by the TSA after bringing a gun to the airport. Golson is a 5'9/176 slot corner and total unknown at this point.

The Cowboys are holding Ezekiel Elliott out of OTAs after he suffered a head injury in a car accident.

It sounds like Zeke may have been concussed, but that isn't confirmed. Per Nick Eatman of the Cowboys' website, Elliott was the passenger in a "minor" accident on Sunday night. A report from Adam Schefter indicated Elliott's injury is not "significant," but it is significant enough that the Cowboys are holding him out of practice. Hopefully there will be more info soon.

ESPN Rams reporter Alden Gonzalez believes WR Robert Woods is "perhaps the best bet to lead the 2017 Rams in catches".

The Rams signed Woods to be Jared Goff's primary target after letting Kenny Britt walk. Woods is spending extra time with Goff before OTAs, working on routes and timing and studying fil. The WR64 in MFL ADP, Woods is a solid flier at the back end of drafts. He should see 100-plus targets as the Rams' default WR1.

Free agent QB Austin Davis is visiting the Seahawks.

Davis is joining fellow free agent Colin Kaepernick on the visit. The Seahawks are trying to find a backup to Russell Wilson after Trevone Boykin's latest arrest. Davis was with the Broncos last summer as a camp arm.

The Pro Bowl will return to Orlando in 2018.

The Pro Bowl is scheduled at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, January 28th at 3:00 EST. The format will follow the traditional AFC versus NFC match-up. Orlando successfully added a Pro Bowl Skills Showdown during the week leading up to the Pro Bowl last season, and will continue with the idea in 2018.

Titans signed fifth-round LB Jayon Brown to a four-year contract.

Brown succeeded Myles Jack at UCLA and led the Pac-12 in tackles as a senior. Undersized at 6'/230, Brown has plus coverage skills and plays special teams. The latter will be his way to a roster spot as a rookie.

Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick is out 2-3 weeks with a broken hand.

He claims to have gotten hurt in a "freak accident." Kirkpatrick will be back for training camp. While he is sidelined at OTAs, Kirkpatrick will wear a soft cast and participate as a mentor to Cincy's younger corners. Kirkpatrick signed a five-year, $52.5 million contract this offseason.

Bills signed WR Rod Streater.

Streater has been close to a non-factor since his 60-catch 2013 season with the Raiders, bouncing between the Chiefs and 49ers last year. The Bills desperately need depth at receiver with both Sammy Watkins (foot) and Zay Jones (knee) injured. Streater will compete for a spot at the bottom of the roster.

Bills waived OT Cyrus Kouandjio.

The No. 44 pick in the 2014 draft, Kouandjio lost the last of his support when GM Doug Whaley was fired. Kouandjio had hip surgery after a mysterious home incident in January and then had an even more bizarre run-in with police in April where he was found naked in a field climbing over an electric fence before crying "shoot me!" The Bills drafted new RT Dion Dawkins in the second round.

Matt Forte said he hopes new Jets OC John Morton uses a more favorable rotation in the backfield this season.

Forte called out ex-OC Chan Gailey's "odd" rotation last season, saying he wasn't sure why Gailey pulled him off the field on third downs. Forte has long been one of the better pass catchers out of the backfield and wants Morton to give him that opportunity. At 31, Forte knows he's on his last legs and realizes Bilal Powell is going to have a role, but he hopes they'll rotate series, not downs.

Chargers first-round WR Mike Williams is not participating in OTAs after injuring his back in the first practice of rookie minicamp.

Coach Anthony Lynn is "hopeful" Williams will return next week, but it's not a given he'll be ready before June minicamp. Williams has been sidelined for a couple weeks now due to what the team is calling "tightness" in his back. In a deep receiver depth chart, Williams is missing crucial developmental time. He's no lock to open the year as a starter.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports RB Matt Jones will not report for Redskins OTAs.

Jones has nothing to gain by reporting for the voluntary workouts. He already knows he's out of the team's plans after being a healthy scratch much of last year and then seeing the team draft Samaje Perine to go with Rob Kelley, Chris Thompson, and Mack Brown. Jones likely hopes to get released or traded soon and will sit out the OTA sessions to prevent himself from some sort of injury.
