Tyler Anderson earned his third victory of the season on Friday, striking out seven in six innings of two-run ball against the Reds.
Anderson scattered just four hits and a pair of walks in the ballgame. He allowed a solo homer to Eugenio Suarez in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the sixth, but that was the extent of the damage against him. While his 6.00 ERA and 1.42 WHIP look rough on the surface, he does own a 49/16 K/BB ratio across 48 innings on the year. He'll look to replicate this fine effort when he takes on the Phillies in Philadelphia on Thursday. Fri, May 19, 2017 10:53:00 PM
