James Paxton (forearm) is hoping to rejoin the Mariners' rotation on May 31 against the Rockies.
Paxton threw 37 pitches Sunday in another successful bullpen session and is slated to make a rehab start with Double-A Arkansas on Friday. Assuming that goes well, he'll then be cleared to start against the Rockies. The left-hander has been on the shelf for nearly three weeks with a strained forearm. May 21 - 2:41 PM
