Jaime Garcia delivered a strong start in Sunday's loss to the Nationals, allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits over eight innings of work.
The veteran southpaw racked up eight strikeouts on the afternoon and didn't walk a batter. Daniel Murphy clubbed a solo homer off of him in the second inning and the Nats pushed across a pair of unearned runs in the third, but Garcia was dynamite otherwise. Now 1-3 on the season, he'll carry a 4.07 ERA and 1.32 WHIP into Friday's start against the Giants in San Francisco. Sun, May 21, 2017 04:33:00 PM
