Chris Bosh - F/C - Heat

The Heat, Chris Bosh and the players' union have tentatively agreed to a resolution that would allow all parties to move on, according to sources of Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

Bosh, his agents and lawyers still need to go over the fine tuning of this deal, but it looks as though Bosh's salary of $52.1 over the next two years will officially be removed from Miami's salary cap. Bosh has said on multiple occasions that he hopes to resume his NBA career, but as long as he's being forced to take blood thinners, his chances of getting medical clearance to play aren't great.

The Timberwolves are reportedly interested in pursuing Derrick Rose as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

There were a lot of rumors flying around during the trade deadline that the Wolves were interested in trading away Ricky Rubio in a package that would net them Rose, so it does appear that Tom Thibodeau has a clear interest in reuniting with his former point guard. If Rose does wind up wearing a Timberwolves jersey next season, that would likely queue the end of Rubio's run in Minnesota.

Jamal Murray (groin) has progressed to light running and getting up jump shots.

Murray was recently cleared to begin basketball-related activities after undergoing surgery back in April, although he's still not been cleared for contact, and as of right now, Summer League doesn't seem like a very realistic option. Still, he has plenty of time to get ready for the 2017-18 season, and he could see a big jump in his development during Year-2, particularly if the Nuggets lose Danilo Gallinari during free agency.

The Hawks have reportedly picked Warriors' assistant GM Travis Schlenk to become their new general manager.

Schlenk initially started as an assistant coach and video scout for the Dubs back in 2004, and over that time he has risen through the ranks all the way to assistant GM and VP of basketball operations with the Warriors. He's well respected around the league and has learned under the tutelage of the 2014-15 Executive of the Year Bob Myers, so this is a great get for Atlanta.

Seth Curry said that Rick Carlisle putting him on the floor for big minutes in meaningful games helped his confidence during his first year in Dallas.

"We obviously had a lot of injuries early on this season, so some of the young guys got an opportunity to play big minutes," said Curry. "A lot of time the young guys come in and play minutes, but it’s not really meaningful basketball. We had a lot of meaningful minutes to play trying to win games, and it helped me out to get my confidence going, playing every night and trying to play well." Curry put in career-highs across the board during his first year with the Mavs, and he'll make for a fine mid-round pick in next year's drafts.

Pat Connaughton hinted during a recent interview that he may consider taking his talents to the MLB.

Connaughton still has one more year remaining on his rookie deal with the Trail Blazers, but only the first two years of that contract were guaranteed, and he really hasn't seen many opportunities during his first two years in the league. "[I'm] not going to unrealistically chase a dream if it appears that dream is getting farther and farther away." said Connaughton. He was drafted by the Orioles during the fourth-round of the 2014 MLB draft, and Orioles executive VP has made it clear that he would welcome him to the team should he opt to switch careers and play professional baseball.
